Continuation course Cut
This is a course aimed at those of you who have already climbed a lot and have basic knowledge of how to place your own fuses such as combs and wedges.
The course focuses on learning to climb in the traditional way, ie laying your own fuses while leading.
Overall educational goals
Effective rehearsal work.
Joint climbing up to half the length of the rope in the traditional way (so-called "Trad-climbing").
Be able to follow as a second man in a rope team that climbs several rope lengths.
Learn different forms of securing and firing methods.
Be able to rig top rope climbing privately with beginners.
The course is to some extent adapted to needs, so depending on the level of prior knowledge, extra focus can be directed towards different elements.
The course follows the Swedish Climbing Association's standards.
Award
2800 sec / person. At least 3 entries are required for a course to be completed. Maximum 4 participants per instructor.
The course is 2 days.
For who
From 16 years with the parent's permission. This course can be adapted to your previous knowledge. What do you want to learn? The lowest requirement is that you have the corresponding knowledge that a Basic Course Cutting provides.
